STARK UK is a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, and we are looking for a highly motivated and commercially astute Group Accountant to join our finance team based in Coventry. What You’ll Be Doing: As the Group Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the preparation of the consolidated group financial statements. This role requires a hands-on, analytical, detail-oriented individual who will support the Group Reporting Manager with financial reporting and complying with deadlines. - Preparation of consolidated management reporting for the UK Group - Collaboration with Brand finance teams to gather financial data for reporting purposes - Drive consistency in reporting and presentation across the Brands - Analysis of financial information to provide insight to senior management for decision-making purposes - Develop and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting - Support statutory accounts preparation and audit processes - Ensure the company's financial reporting practices remain compliant with accounting standards - Provide support for external group audits, including queries and analysis What We’re Looking For: - Part-qualifi...
