Description Employment Status: Part-time: FLSA: Non-exempt/Hourly: Work Schedule: 8:30AM – 2:15PM ( mid-August through mid-May ) The programs calendar compliments the Northeast Independent School District calendar. Reports to : Director: Job Summary: The St. Mark Catholic Preschool Lead Teacher is a classroom architect responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, socially and spiritually enriching environment for young children, approximately 18 months to 5 years old, during the short-term daytime program. This role focuses on fostering early developmental milestones through structured play, basic instruction, and compassionate care, and executing curricula, while ensuring parents feel confident and secure leaving their children in our care. In addition to providing direct care, the Lead Teacher is responsible for the work relationship with the Assistant Teacher, colleagues, and acting as the primary point of contact for the families.
