Postdoctoral Associate- Staphylococcus Aureus Biology & Pathogenesis Required Qualifications: (as evidenced by an attached resume) Doctoral degree (or foreign equivalent) in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a closely related field in hand by the start of the appointment. Candidates must have received their PhD or foreign equivalent within the past 2 years to be eligible for this early-stage postdoctoral training position . Experience with bacterial cultures and aseptic technique. Experience with molecular approaches to study bacterial survival and antibiotic resistance. Preferred Qualifications: ● Experience with bacterial genetics. ● Experience with protein biochemistry and functional assays. ● Experience with mouse infection models. Brief Description of Duties: The Postdoctoral Associate will assist the Principal Investigator, Dr. Hwan Kim , in the department of Microbiology and Immunology.
