Job description
The Senior Data Engineer leads the design, modernization, and operational support of the enterprise data platform. This role is responsible for architecting, optimizing, and supporting enterprise data integration, warehousing, reporting, and automation solutions across Azure, Snowflake, Microsoft BI technologies, and the Power Platform. Key Responsibilities: This position will perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the department. - Defines and implements enterprise data architecture leveraging Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2), Azure SQL, Snowflake, Snowflake OpenFlow, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Query. - Leads conversion of SSIS packages to Azure Data Factory, Snowflake OpenFlow and modern ELT frameworks - Designs scalable ingestion patterns to prevent duplicate extracts and enable incremental loading - Optimizes long-running data extractions and improves pipeline performance - Manages and tunes Snowflake warehouses for performance and cost efficiency - Develops and supports Power BI datasets, data models, and enterprise reporting solutions - Supports and modernizes SSRS reporting and downstream Power Platform depend...
