Job description

Purpose: The purpose of this position is the installation of electrical and control systems as well as troubleshooting, repairing, upgrading, renovating, and modifying electrical systems for NEP Systems Integration. The Electrician will perform all necessary activities at NEP SI or other locations if needed to meet the requirements of the Systems Integration team, NEP, and clients, meeting all applicable rules, regulations and codes while upholding the NEP Core Values. Essential Duties/ Responsibilities: •Applies knowledge of electrical principles, regulations, codes, and techniques in the construction of electrical systems •Install new equipment as well as determine equipment and systems malfunctions and apply skills in restoring to operation. •Read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings, project plans, scope documents and timelines. •Assemble and fabricate electrical power and monitoring systems, distribution panels, and other system components as determined by the Engineering design team, Supervisor, Project leads, etc. •Run main and branch circuits, install distribution panels, control wiring and any tasks as needed for new construction projects and renovations. •Wor...
