Description Texas Law seeks a Director of Advocacy. We are nationally recognized for our advocacy training and a winner of the American College of Trial Lawyers’ Emil Gumpert Award. You can learn more about our program on our website . The Director is responsible for the program, including both our curricular and extracurricular offerings. Other staff include an associate director and an administrative assistant. The Director also administers our extracurricular advocacy competitions, both intramural and interscholastic. This includes recruiting and supervising outstanding volunteer coaches and judges. The Director is the faculty advisor for our student-led advocacy group, the Board of Advocates. Additionally, the Director plans and runs special programs such as Judges in Residence, Public Speaking Workshop, Fall Litigation Institute, and Spring Trial Academy. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be available to begin in the summer of 2022 or earlier.
