Description Job Title: Non-Medically Trained Driver (No experience required) Job Code: 0900: Department: Emergency Medical Services: Direct Supervisor: EMS Supervisor: Status: Non-exempt: Primary Focus: Employee will follow policies and procedures set forth by Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center. Non-medically trained drivers are to assist with patient movement, CPR, and equipment deployment. They are responsible for EMS vehicle operations, and radio communications to dispatch and hospitals. Job duties and expectations: - Operate emergency vehicles safely and within the law as defined by Washington State RCW and WAC. - Participate regularly in OTEP or CME EMS education programs to maintain skills. - Behave in a professional manner when working with other EMS, hospital, law enforcement, fire service, and healthcare personnel. - Act with professionalism, compassion, and decorum when dealing with patients, family, and the public. - When using the “Crew App” for work related communications, it will be used in the same manner in which it is expected for you to treat your fellow crew members; with professionalism, courtesy, compassion and respect. - Must be able to lift fifty pounds or mor...
