Overview Job Title: Buffet Host/Cashier: Salary: $20.00/hourly: Shift: Days, Swing: Monarch Casino Resort in Black Hawk is a 23 story resort with over 500 rooms, 4 restaurants, and the one of the country's top spa. The Monarch Casino Resort Spa is looking for a passionate Restaurant Host to join our team! You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that exceeds the expectations of our guests and Team Members. Responsibilities: - Guest Interaction: Greets guests upon arrival, thanks them for dining, and engages in friendly conversation while learning their names. - Front-of-House Responsibilities: Maintains a neat environment, seats guests, takes initial drink orders, and assists with opening and closing tasks. - Administrative Duties: Answers phones, schedules large party reservations, validates coupons, and manages cash and payment transactions. - Support Tasks: Assists with bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and operating registers and credit card terminals. - Additional Duties: Rewrites menu boards, keeps records of guests per server, and performs other assigned tasks as needed.
