Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Work Shift: Days (United States of America) Director, Laboratory Services | Richmond, Virginia The Director of Laboratory Services oversees all daily laboratory and compliance functions of the Bon Secours Mercy Health assigned region laboratory locations and other duties assigned. The Regional Director of Laboratory, with the direction of the Executive Director Laboratory Services, Regional COO and respective Lab Medical Directors, assumes the responsibility for the development of long term strategic and operational plans for all laboratory modalities at all sites: manages human, financial, and capital resources: collaboratively works with nurse managers, physicians, other professionals and staff to implement and evaluate standards of patient care and organizational standards: controls expenses and productivity for laboratory and grows net revenue for laboratory services: communicates regional operations, information and mission objectives to all staff; ensures proper education, training, and development of staff, availability of supplies, oversees quality improvement activities; and monitors job performa...
