Description Come work as a Consultant Pathologist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)! The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Vancouver General Hospital is looking to hire a full-time oral and maxillofacial pathologist to join a large group of Anatomic Pathologists. This is a blended clinical and academic position, requiring the successful applicant to provide diagnostic support and consultative expertise. This is a busy service, with significant teaching responsibilities: Vancouver General Hospital serves as a training centre for Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology (OMOP), Pathology, and Dermatology residents and Head and Neck fellows; the successful candidate will also participate in teaching of undergraduate and graduate students, and in administrative tasks, including quality management, committee work and collaboration in health authority initiatives. With research experience and publications, the applicant will be expected to work synergistically with the affiliated research programs, continuing the tradition of academic excellence at UBC and Vancouver Coast Health.
