Job Description Overview: CanAtom, a joint venture between AtkinsRéalis and Aecon, is delivering the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station Refurbishment Project under a collaborative contract with Ontario Power Generation. The joint venture is underway to complete the retube, feeder, and boiler replacement (RFBR) of Units 5–8. Building on the successful delivery of the Darlington Refurbishment Project, the CanAtom team brings proven experience in safely executing complex nuclear projects on time and on budget to support Ontario’s clean energy future. The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Lead Advisor reports to the EHS & HU Director and is responsible for providing health and safety advice and assistance to the projects Line Supervisors. The Lead EHS Advisor will be responsible for supervising a small team of EHS Advisors that will be engaged in the development, implementation, and auditing of the Safety Program for the Projects.
