An exciting career opportunity awaits you as a Billing Rate Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining our firm's client billing rates and ensuring a consistent fee structure. If you’re a customer-oriented analyst with a keen attention to detail, then this is the role for you! Key Responsibilities: - Ensure accurate communication of billing rates and requirements to lawyers, the Client Services Team, and Business Services Support Teams. - Manage billing rate agreement renewals on an annual and ad hoc basis, collaborating with responsible lawyers. - Maintains the Special Fee Rate report, highlighting any special billing rate arrangements to the Toronto Finance Committee. - Communicate any rate inconsistencies with the responsible lawyer(s) and coordinate the agreement process. - Analyzes and proposes billing rates for new timekeepers, without predetermined set rates. - Manages the New Matter Intake System, as it relates to billing requirements, for new clients and new matters firmwide. - Develops intimate knowledge of client arrangements with financial institutions and assists with setting annual rates. - Manages billing rate d...
