WSP is seeking an experienced Bridge Inspection TEC Lead! This position can sit out of any of the following areas: Columbia, SC – Greenville, SC This Opportunity: The Bridge Inspection Technical Excellence Center (TEC) Lead for our South Carolina Bridge Inspection Group. You will work closely with our bridge inspection District Manager for Carolina on a full-time basis with business development and winning bridge inspection and repair work for NCDOT, SCDOT, County and City authorities and other transportation agencies. You will utilize your education, licensure, and relevant work experience to perform independently and complete evaluation of the condition, function and load carrying capacity of structures and their individual components. These evaluations may form the basis of recommendations to facility owners for repair, rehabilitation, or replacement. Your Impact: Plan, schedule, and perform SCDOT bridge inspections in accordance with the requirements of specific Bridge Owners, but in all cases, in compliance with the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and the AASHTO Manual for Condition Evaluation of Bridges.
