Job description

The primary responsibility of the food server is to provide prompt, courteous service to all guest room patrons. The Food Server is responsible for ensuring the guests are satisfied with their dining experience by engaging the guests in a professional and genuine manner, inputting orders accurately into the POS terminal and creating beverages accurately and timely. The Food Server is responsible for maintaining a genuine, cheerful demeanor. Arrive at work on time, fully dressed, clean, and prepared with all the proper work cards, credentials and uniform. Prepare the restaurant for daily service and alerting management of any maintenance issues or missing product. Perform all opening, closing and side duties required of a food server position. Greet guests using the 10’/5’ rule and engaging guests in cheerful, genuine conversation. Deliver the proper steps of service in the correct sequence Accurately input all orders into the POS terminal. Accurately post all transactions on the POS terminal giving correct change; accounts for all cash, charge and complimentary sales according to established procedure; maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
