Job Title: Custodian Department: Operations / Facilities: Reports To: Assistant General Manager: Status: Non-Exempt | Part-Time: Position Summary: The Custodian supports the overall cleanliness, safety, and organization of all Tacoma City Theaters spaces. This position helps ensure the venues remain well-maintained and ready to support performances, rehearsals, and daily operations for staff, artists, and partners. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys independent, detailed work in a creative environment and can flex their schedule around rehearsal and office activity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Custodial Duties Perform routine cleaning of rehearsal rooms, studios, green rooms, dressing rooms, and backstage corridors. Complete weekly cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and administrative spaces. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize all assigned areas to maintain a clean and professional appearance. Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners, and restock consumables (soap, paper towels, sanitizer, tissues, etc.). Maintain custodial closets and storage spaces in a clean and organized manner.
