Job Summary: Under the direction of the Lab Manager, Lab Supervisors and Chief of Pathology, is responsible for maintaining a functional laboratory section (s) to meet the needs of patient care. Upholds the policies of the laboratory and ensures the quality of the work, while maintaining a pleasant and efficient work atmosphere. Hours: Week 1: 1-930pm (Weds, Thu, Fri) Week 2: 1-930pm (Sun, Weds, Thu) Week 3: 1-930pm (Weds, Thu, Fri) Week 4: 1-930pm (Sun, Weds, Thu) Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: Performs and monitors testing procedures. Performs monitors the quality control and quality assurance programs on an on going basis. Always adheres to safety and infection control procedures. Responsible for ensuring station (s) is in compliance with CAP, Joint Commission, CLIA and AABB regulations. Required Qualifications: Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory or Life Sciences required.
