Plant Electrician Alaska General Seafoods – Naknek, AK As a Plant Electrician at our Naknek, Alaska facility, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment within the seafood processing plant. Your duties will include troubleshooting electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, installing new electrical components while adhering to electrical safety standards. You will work closely with other maintenance and production personnel to ensure the smooth operation of the plant. Strong electrical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are essential for this role. This is a Union position. Essential Functions/Qualifications: The responsibilities of the position include the following: - Installs, services, and repairs lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets, and wiring. - Operates power hand tools and other specialized electrical equipment. - Installs, repairs, and services specialized electrical equipment and machinery. - Reads electrical circuit diagrams. - Installs conductors, splices cables, builds terminations, and performs necessary hook-ups for primary power lines. - Upholds and supports company rules and po...
