Job description

Job Description: The jobholder will take over the Outboard Equipment Design Engineer responsibilities as a System Design Responsible (SDR), covering all the activities required for the design, integration, verification and validation (V&V), and certification of Outboard Equipments (mainly ELRS but also Cargo Hook, Wiper System) for NH90, including the following main tasks: - Participate in all the phases of the product, from specification to customer in-service support: conceptual and detail design, support to production (non-conformity assessment, etc.), support to testing activities, generation of evidence for certification/qualification purposes and customer support. - System compliance demonstration with respect to the allocated requirements: system/ subsystem design, problem analysis on system/subsystem/equipment level and for the definition and approval of the test equipment and test means. - Verify the compliance of a detailed design solution toward the baseline of validated requirements for a single system / sub-system / equipment. - Develop modifications and retrofits within timescales as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team. - Adapt design solutions to real Helic...
