POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manager, Nursing Education and Professional Practice, you will provide clinical and educational expertise with a patient-centered and evidence-informed focus to support and advance nursing excellence and quality of care corporately and within the Emergency Department at the Charlton Campus, and Ambulatory Services at King Campus inclusive of SJHH Urgent Care Centre. You will be responsible for assessing learning needs, designing, delivering and evaluating educational programs and will play an active role in nursing and departmental visioning, planning and development. You will be responsible for effectively collaborating with the other members within the Professional Practice and Nursing Development department, the Department of Education, and Clinical Programs to assist in corporate-wide educational initiatives as assigned. Additionally, you will encourage ongoing learning, professional growth, continual quality enhancement, and service excellence by exemplifying, coaching, and mentoring, and by facilitating effective resource coordination to address recognized educational and developmental requirements.
