Job Description Summary Job Description: Job Overview: Manages various EHS programs to ensure compliance with metals recycling/scrap, hazardous waste, non-hazardous waste (e.g., used oil and absorbents), and wastewater treatment systems for both Terre Haute, IN locations. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: - Drives constant EHS compliance with an emphasis on environmental tasks. - Technical duties include, but are not limited to: - Maintaining good housekeeping in scrap building, hazwaste building, wastewater, etc. - Daily scrap management - Conduct various inspections in compliance with GE standards and regulatory schedules - Coordinate with vendors to schedule disposal of scrap and waste - Track waste accumulation dates - Calibrate EHS equipment and devices - Conduct daily operations involving the wastewater processes - Conduct training for forklift operations, confined spaces, line breaking, and advanced electrical - Complete and retain all relevant documentation/records - Complete all required trainings relevant to position - Collaborate with peers and support staff for continuous improvement in the shop. - Proficient in all electronic systems relevant to job function (i.e....
