Terms of Employment: 12-months Exemption Status: Non-exempt AFSCME Scale: UA Grade 14-15 https://www.ccboe.com/careers/salary-scales Salary Range: $52,333 to $92,914, determined by years of relevant experience. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: Required: - High School Diploma - Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the installation and maintenance of life safety systems, public address systems, and intrusion systems. Preferred: - Degree from an accredited technical school/college. QUALIFICATIONS: - Ability to read and interpret blueprints. - Proficient in life safety systems, public address systems, and intrusion systems for commercial applications. - Good physical condition. - Valid Maryland Class C driver’s license and clean driving record, insurable by Charles County Public School System. - Willingness to complete additional training as needed. - Strong interpersonal skills for working with staff and faculty. - Competence in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. - Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. - Availability to work weekends, evenings, and overtime wh...
