Classification Title: AST/ASO/FULL PROF -Academic Pulmonary Pathologist Job Description: The Pulmonary pathology service partners with a busy Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Division as well as renowned Transplant Center. Within the Pulmonary Division, we have specialized UF Health Lung Cancer Center, UF Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center, Interstitial Lung Disease Program, and Rare Lung Disease Clinic among others. In addition, for the past several years, the UF Health Lung Transplant Program has consistently ranked in the top 10 nationwide on various quality metrics by the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients. As such, the applicant should demonstrate experience and competency in neoplastic, non-neoplastic, and transplant pulmonary pathology. The UF Health System presents a rich variety of inpatient and outpatient clinical material and consultations. Primary service responsibilities include sign-out, tumor board and clinical conferences, frozen section and AP call coverage.
