About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 11 Analyst / Principal Analyst – Investing in Energy The Role: The Finance to Energy team works with S&P Energy Commodity clients to provide financial and capital markets decision support through insights, data and advisory. The Team works across the full spectrum of energy markets for clients investing in oil and gas, as well as power, solar, wind, batteries and energy storage, and related commodities and technologies. The Analyst/Principal Analyst role involves assessing technology value chains, evaluating investment opportunities, assessing market opportunities, capital deployment and forecasting market trends. The role will also contribute to and lead other wide-ranging engagement in the Energy Capital space. The focus would be on clean technologies, and the capital and investment environment around electrification. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help build and grow a team addressing the needs of the global capital deployment in energy.
