Position Overview: - Bonus: Up to $6,000 - Department: Ortho SurgerySchedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 5/8s, 4/10s, or based on manager descretion limited 3/12s with verified Ortho experience. - Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham - Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. - Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile drapes and sterile solutions as well as appropriate sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies. - Hand required/requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery. - Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. - Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor/track instruments counts throughout procedures. What You Will Need: Education: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
