Job description

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining the appearance of the pool area to hotel standards at all times. Monitors all activity on the pool deck, enforces pool rules, maintains retail sale of items and provides assistance to guests as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck area in addition to providing assistance to hotel guests at the pool following check-in at the pool counter. HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY: Remains alert to all activity occurring within their assigned section of the pool area throughout their shift. Treats customers with courtesy and respect at all times. Notifies the manager immediately of any problems at the pool requiring any extra ordinary attention (i.e., guest injury, guest employee conflict, etc.). Ensures all guests follow pool rules (i.e., diving board safety, running, horseplay, etc.). Place towels and chairs in desired locations in the pool area for guests Take in all chairs at the end of the day (stack and cover with the tarp). Stock pool registration counter with all needed supplies (i.e., folded towels, receipts, log sheets, etc.). Stock, replenish and manage sale of pool retail items.
