Characteristic duties include prepares and operates equipment, secures and prepares supplies for testing and secures results, and maintains logs. Prepares samples for review and orders supplies, reagents, and chemicals. Records and interprets test results, performs quality control tests and maintains laboratory area. May direct others in the preparation of fixative solutions.
