Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: MercyOne Waterloo Med Center Physical Therapist: FT Day Shift (80 hrs/biweekly) Position Purpose: provides physical therapy evaluations and treatments to appropriate patients to facilitate their return to prior level of functioning as prescribed by physician. What you will Do: Administers treatment techniques competently. Conducts patient assessment. Develops treatment plans for patients. Develops initial assessment in SOAP-note form utilizing appropriate documentation tool (700/701 forms). Provides education to patients and families. Supervises students and volunteers. Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor degree: Physical Therapy Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Iowa. BLS. Mandatory Reporter: Ability to communicate effectively with treatment team, supervisors, peers, patients and families. Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and the ability to be flexible.
