Overview i3 is looking for a Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have previous experience in rotary and/or fixed wing aircraft nondestructive inspection. This position is located in Huntsville, Alabama. Responsibilities: - Detect flaws such as cracks, delamination, voids, processing defects, and heat damage using Fluorescent Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, Ultrasonic, Radiographic (CR), and Optical test equipment. - Provide the necessary guidance and training to Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard DOD personnel in the techniques/methods of detecting visible and non-visible defects. - Maintain records of training activities, trainee progress and program effectiveness at government site location and remote locations. - Give presentations and speaking in front of groups of 20 or more individuals. - This position will require 20% travel CONUS and OCONUS. - Other duties as assigned.
