Senior Staff Software Engineer – Automotive Battery Management Systems (f/m/d)

Job description

Job Description: - Lead the development and implementation of software for battery management systems (BMS) for high-voltage, 48V, and 12V automotive applications - Architect and design complex device drivers for BMS integrated circuits (ICs) - Ensure and drive functional safety according to ISO 26262 standards across projects - Serve as a key technical contact for OEMs and Tier-1 customers, managing customer-facing interactions and technical presentations - Provide technical leadership in AUTOSAR-based software architectures and solutions - Guide and mentor engineering teams, support customer projects, and deliver technical consulting Qualifications: - Educated to a degree in Electroengineering, Computer Science or similar - Several years of relevant professional experience - Extensive experience in automotive software development, with a focus on battery management systems - Deep expertise in AUTOSAR and functional safety (ISO 26262) - Proven track record in developing complex device drivers for BMS ICs - Significant experience in customer-facing roles with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, ideally in international environments - Excellent communication skills in English and German - St...
