What You’ll Do: As an OPS Simulation Technician , you’ll play a key role in implementing simulation training designed to enhance student learning and promote safety and quality in healthcare. The day-to-day responsibilities will include: Assisting with setting up and cleaning up of simulation environment prior and after the simulation sessions. Assisting in programming simulators and running simulation equipment during simulations including computer hardware, props, EHR, human patient simulators and audio-visual systems. Assisting in the development of technical proficiency with all aspects of operation, maintenance support, trouble shooting and repair for all equipment. Assisting in the coordination of the transport of simulation equipment, as necessary. Conducting inventory of supplies. Assisting with data entry for various record keeping.
