JOB SUMMARY: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for coordinating overall shipping and receiving duties for an assigned location. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Conduct shipping/receiving for shipping, including picking product, labeling, packaging product, and facilitating scheduling shipment using the routing guidelines - Load and unload trucks, vans or other transportation vehicles with boxes or materials - Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements, including product identification, packaging, carriers, routing and billing requirements - Ensure the appropriate work environment organization, housekeeping and cleanliness - Maintain inventory management and assist with physical inventory - Perform related job duties as assigned OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be pe r formed by the employee occupying this position .
