The Accounts Payable Specialist will evaluate and process vendor invoices in our Accounting System, IFS. The role is a team member among a close group of six others who oversee vendor payments for several US locations from the office in Thomasville, GA. Essential Functions: Education: High School Diploma is required; candidates that possess or are currently working towards an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred Experience: - Codes such items as invoices, vouchers, expense reports, check requests, etc., with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system. - Handles all vendor correspondence via phone or email - Match the corresponding purchase orders to incoming invoices with all supporting documentation. - Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders. - As...
