Job description

Manage renewable generation projects from pre-bid and buyout through construction and final acceptance. After final acceptance, oversee operation of the renewable generation asset. Oversee the planning, design, licensing, construction, and start-up of new renewable energy power projects. Lead or provide support for various phases of new renewable energy development projects, including contract negotiations, review of emerging technologies, and issues related to environmental, land, and quality assurance. Ensure compliance with power purchase agreement and large generator interconnect agreements. Manage the day-to-day operations of renewable power plants, while overseeing third party operations and maintenance contractor. Maintain a focus on safety, regulatory integrity, operational excellence, and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Develop and execute an operations and maintenance budget for the power plant in accordance with the overall financial goals of BHE Renewables. Responsible for all activities that occur at the plant.
