The Role The Senior Cost Analyst will be responsible for partnering with our manufacturing sites to collect and understand data to drive business decisions. Our organization has complexities to the manufacturing and production operations and it’s imperative critical that you understand all components from start to finish. This position is hybrid and requires working 2x/week on site time either at our HQ office in the River North neighborhood of Chicago , or our Rolling Meadows office. Responsibilities: - Assist in the planning, gathering, and collection of data from our different CPG sites to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, labor, and overhead. - Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services to determine effects on cost. - Evaluate actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs - Record cost information for use in controlling expenditures - Analyze audits of costs and prepare reports - Make estimates of new and proposed product costs - Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of...
