LOCATION: Mesa Corps – Mesa, AZ STATUS: Part Time (25 hrs.): MISSION STATEMENT: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. The Food Pantry Associate will prepare and distribute food boxes while maintaining the cleanliness of the food pantry and appropriate food handling guidelines. This person will assist with, taking inventory of the food pantry to help with ordering of food and other goods. This position will facilitate the training of all volunteers and assist with the pickup and drop-off of donations. The Food Pantry Associate will also assist with all seasonal and special social service projects. QUALIFICATIONS: - High School diploma or GED preferred - Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) - Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills - Respect and concern for cultural diversity of families and individuals served - Employment contingent upon successful completion of a Background check PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS...
