TITLE: Landscape Technician I LAST UPDATED: April 27, 2022 DIVISION: Facility Services DEPARTMENT: Groundskeeping REPORTS TO: Groundskeeping Supervisor FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt COMP LEVEL: 5 ________________________________________________________________ Summary: Maintains landscaped areas, flower beds, parking lots, and other designated areas located on Casino property. The intent of this position description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by this position. Employee(s) may be required to perform position-related tasks other than those specifically listed in this description. Essential Job Functions: - Assists in ensuring the proper maintenance of assigned Casino grounds. - Able to be trained on various types of groundskeeping tools and equipment. - Mows lawns and trims/edges around walks, flower beds, walls, and/or other assigned areas. - With assistance, able to prune trees and shrubs; deadheads bedding plants. - Performs weeding of flowerbeds, pathways, and/or other designated areas. - With assistance, able to plants bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees. - Waters exterior and greenhouse plant materials. - Sweeps and maintai...
