Trainer Athletics Crawford High School 2026-2027 - ( 260000FP ) Description Job Overview Prevent, assess, treat and/or rehabilitate injuries sustained by athletes and provide emergency coverage of athletic events in support of all FBISD athletics. Provide care in emergency situations and act as a first responder for coverage of athletic events in support of Fort Bend ISD athletics. Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform injury assessment, emergency care, and management of acute or chronic injuries with treatment and rehabilitation under the direct supervision of the team physician - Manage daily operations of the athletic training program including the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of student athlete injuries - Provide pre- and post- practice and event treatments and preventative measures which including taping, stretching, meal planning for proper nutrition and hydration - Assist athletic directors and campus coordinators with the inspection of athletic equipment, practice facilities and game facilities for a safe environment for the student athletes - Provide athletic trainer services at practices and campus varsity and sub-v...
