FTE: 0, Shift: Day, Schedule: 12-hour shifts, must work 6 shifts in a 6-week period, three shifts to include weekends Position Summary: The Mental Health Associate is responsible for providing a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment while providing direct observation for an assigned patient experiencing confusion, suicidal ideation, or other psychiatric condition requiring close supervision. This position works in conjunction with the Registered Nurse assigned to the patient. Work situations are confined to patient’s rooms or immediate area and require alertness, constant attention to the patient, and skill in reacting appropriately to changing situations and circumstances.
