The Woodruff Health Sciences Center Library internship will give you exposure to key aspects of working in a busy library focused on the health sciences academic programs at Emory University. You'll learn about complex literature searching, shadow our informationists during teaching and instruction, develop educational materials for library patrons, and work on an independent project of your choosing. This internship will give you foundational experience in the academic library space and will prepare you for future opportunities in librarianship.This internship is for 20 hours a week for 10 weeks. While this is a primarily on-site position in our Atlanta library, there may be opportunity for occasional remote work throughout the summer.
