Machine Operator/ Carton - 1st Shift

Shift: 4:00 AM-1:30 PM Hourly Rate: $21.75 an hour: The Carton Machine Operator is responsible but not limited to the following operating, monitoring and maintaining effective and efficient operation of the cartooning equipment, facilitating the packing of finished product in a timely manner, completing all required paperwork in a timely manner, and observing all safety regulations and ensuring GMP and quality standards are met. Essential Job Functions: Ability to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position Ability to read, write, and comprehend written English. Ability to move up to 40 lbs Good communication skills: Excellent attention to detail: Job Duties: Obtain daily schedule and supplies needed for production Complete required paperwork in English in a timely manner (e.g., centerline, CI inspections, minor stop tracking, etc.) Perform safety check on equipment being used to ensure it is functioning properly Monitor and maintain effective and efficient operation of packing equipment Ensure proper cases of carton blanks and glue chips are staged (numbers, versions on labels) Fill carton magazine with stacks of carton blanks as necessary Verify carton co...
