Job description

No Responsibilities and Duties: - Coordinate, install and/or repair sanitary, storm, domestic water, fuel oil and natural gas systems including fixtures and equipment for plumbing systems and heating and cooling equipment systems. - Perform field fabrication of plumbing and piping systems and set up the specific task or project schedule. Make adjustments to work sequences to meet construction schedules. - Manage materials to ensure timely completion of the work scheduled. Ensure optimal material consumption. - Read blueprints and interpret specifications. - Correct punch-list items and make distribution as required. - Plan work to make the most efficient use of assigned manpower and other resources. - Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure conformance to contract and specification. - Ensure the needs of general contractors, owners, and other customers as well as entrusted employees are met. - Serve as a coach by monitoring and mentoring Apprentices and laborers with production and quality workmanship. - Strengthen skills to encourage improvement in other plumbers or fitters.
