Position Description At a Glance: Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Automatic Machine Operator to join the Electrica Wiring Systems (Cablofil) Team in Mascoutah, IL. Conductor-In-Training are responsible for learning the operation of the Wire Mesh Welding Machine. What Will You Do?: Job Duties: · Use wire feed welder to weld broken tray. · Use multimeters to help trouble shoot electrical systems on all production machines. · Use grinders, drills and other hand-held tools to maintain & modified production line. · Use measuring tools: micro motor, calipers, ruler, and scales. · Assist with setting up operations for the day. And ensure machines are ready for operation. · Must wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies and practices. · Review production schedules and ensure correct size tray is produced within standards, properly packaged, and loaded on trucks. · Ensure production line is safe, clean and in good working condition. · Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. · Ensure tools are in place. · Assist with changeovers. · Modify existing programs as needed to ensure quality of end product. · Preform hourly inspections, quality checks and inspect tray. ·...
