This position will support ColumbiaDoctors, one of the largest multi-specialty practices in the Northeast. ColumbiaDoctors’ practices comprise an experienced group of more than 2,800 physicians, surgeons, dentists, and nurses, offering more than 240 specialties and subspecialties. Job Responsibilities: - Assisting Physical Therapists in providing patient care - Answering clinic phone and voicemails - Schedules initial evaluations and follow-up appointments - Receives authorizations from insurance carriers and links to appointment for appropriate payment - Obtains authorization for physical therapy visits through all insurance carriers; requests date extensions for prior authorizations if needed - Verification of all procedure codes submitted by therapists - Obtain co-signatures from referring physicians for patients insured through Medicare - Patient scheduling for new evaluations and follow-ups - Scheduling and tracking authorization for Morgan Stanley Westchester PT location - Processing and assisting in tracking authorizations and pre-cert...
