Description WESTSIDE FAMILY HEALTHCARE IS LOOKING FOR A HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST TO LEAD THE TEAM! JOIN A CARING, DEDICATED TEAM PROVIDING HEALTHCARE IN YOUR COMMUNITY!: The Health Information Management (HIM) Specialist Lead collaborates with, trains and mentors the HIM Site Specialists. The HIM Specialist Lead is the subject matter expert for all site based HIM activities. S/he will be responsible for assisting the other site based Specialists with their daily duties to ensure compliance with all Westside Family Healthcare policies and procedures. S/he will also assure that medical records are gathered and processed in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and in accordance with HIPAA and HITECH privacy rules.
