Overview Roanoke Cement Company, a Titan America business, is seeking a motivated and analytical Jr. Reliability Engineer to support asset reliability and maintenance optimization efforts at our Troutville, VA plant. This role focuses on identifying and mitigating reliability risks that could adversely impact plant safety, production, quality, cost, and compliance. The Jr. Reliability Engineer will partner closely with Maintenance, Production, and Engineering to improve equipment performance, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making. This position is ideal for an early-career engineer seeking hands-on experience in heavy industrial manufacturing. Responsibilities: Asset Reliability & Risk Management: - Assist in identifying and analyzing asset reliability risks impacting plant operations. - Support root cause failure analysis (RCFA) investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions. - Develop and track reliability KPIs including MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and asset utilization. - Contribute to risk mitigation strategies that improve operational stability.
