Job Posting Title: Advanced Practice Provider Location: Frisco - Ambulatory Surgical Center Additional Posting Details: Monday through Friday 8 to 4:30 Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Establish medical diagnosis(es) and determine a plan of care for short term health problems, stable chronic health problems and/or exacerbation of stable chronic health problems Order and review, with supervising physician oversight, routine diagnostic studies and X-rays Involved in pre-operative and post-operative work up and care Assist with operative functions as delegated by the supervising physicians Make daily rounds on all inpatients Demonstrate basic medical knowledge of pediatric orthopedics and surgical techniques Participate in educational activities of Scottish Rite for Children such as case conferences, symposia, and professional educational meetings Dictate, complete, and/or sign medical records, forms, and letters related to patients treated by the NP or PA in an accurate and timely manner Participate in mortality and morbidity conferences and performance improvement activities as...
