Job description

We are hiring for an Aerodynamics Development Engineer who will be based in our Brno facility. The Aerodynamics Development Engineer is part of the commercial vehicle (CV) Aerodynamics team and linked to the Wheels and Aerodynamics (W&A) Center of Excellence. This position requires a solid background in turbomachine aerodynamics and mechanical engineering, either from work experience or from education. It also requires a high level of autonomy and problem-solving capability to define technical planning to resolve complex aerodynamic and mechanical problem statements. Responsibilities: Design, test and qualify the next generation of compressor and turbine aerodynamics for integration in the CV portfolio, using state-of-the-art analytical (CFD/FEA) and experimental (Test Rigs) tools. This is based on the development plan established together with the CV Aerodynamics Manager. Close collaboration with the internal engineering customer teams to design robust compressor and turbine stages that will meet the performance, durability, packaging, noise and cost constraints, and be successfully integrated into customer turbocharger product.
