Medical Scribe- ENT- Virginia Site - ( 260000Z9 ) Description The Medical Scribe provides outstanding support to physicians and healthcare providers. The Medical Scribe is responsible for real-time charting for physicians by shadowing them throughout their shifts and performing a variety of helpful tasks. The Scribe will be assigned a doctor or physician assistant to work alongside. The Scribe is in the room during each evaluation, documenting directly from the patient and provider conversation. Qualifications Minimum Education High School Diploma or GED (Required) Minimum Work Experience: 1 year of experience in a medical group practice or similar environment (Required) Or Required Skills/Knowledge: Demonstrated computer skills with data entry software Understanding of medical terminology Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook) Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external departmental contacts Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Functional Accountabilities: Provide support to physicians and healthcare providers - Accompany clinician into patient exam areas for th...
