Newport News, Virginia Overview: Works under the direction of the Central Referral Manager and Senior Director of Primary Care and Access. Responsible for supervising the daily activities of the Central Referral specialty referral coordinators and office assistants. Front Office Supervisor will maintain working knowledge of all centralized specialties so appropriate leadership and expertise can be given to all team members. Maintains working knowledge of all software and reporting tools utilized for central referrals. What you will do: - Demonstrates ability to respond positively to changing circumstances to maximize the opportunity or minimize the problem and keep team moral high. Must be a mentor as well as supervise the work of the central specialty referral team. - Monitors staff time to ensure cost containment according to staffing schedules in cooperation with the Manager. - Assures that customer service is a top focus for the team. Resolves concerns and responds to complaints related to care, access, and service in cooperation with the Manager. - Effectively organizes workflow for the specialty team members ensuring appropriate coverage is in place to meet/exceed productivit...
