Data and Analytics Commercial & IP Strategy Analyst Focus: A legal professional who finds the commercial side of business more stimulating. Although responsible for the licensing and policies for some of CME’s products, the successful candidate will also be adept to think critically for some of our larger forward-looking agreement structure and IP protective projects (like how to handle licensing of AI, data ‘on-chain’ etc). Description: This is a strategic position sitting at the confluence of Licensing, Policy and Legal. As consumer trends, technology and data products evolve at a rapid pace, you will use your legal training to help future-proof the commercial structures that govern some of CME’s most valuable proprietary data and analytics products. You will work within the Data and Analytics Licensing and Policy team to develop commercial constructs that protect our Intellectual Property (IP) while maximizing global market reach. You will be responsible for ensuring that our policies are not just legally sound, but commercially intuitive and easy for our clients to adopt.
